Understand How Works

After you register, it's important you read the User Guide for information about placing bids and other services available to customers of Carefully read the entire listing page before entering a bid on an item. Often there is additional information pertaining to an item at the bottom of the auction. Familiarizing yourself with this information will lead to a better understanding of the item.

Use your head. Most fraud can be prevented by being aware of your surroundings.

Ask about Delivery Time, Returns, Warranties and Service

Make sure to ask the shipper what shipping method they are using. Insist the item is sent with both insurance and tracking, so that you can monitor your package's progress. When purchasing electronics with warranties, ask the shipper for warranty contact information so that you know who to contact in the event a problem should arise.

Get Valid Contact Information

Your winning bid e-mail notification will provide you with the e-mail address and telephone number we have on file for the seller. If you do not get a response, contact the seller first. Often you can address the problem directly with the seller. In the event the seller is uncooperative, has Certified Merchant Coordinators on hand to act as mediators on your behalf.
