Favero was founded in 1973 by Mariano Favero in Bassano del Grappa in the northeast of Italy. This area has been famous for the working of gold throughout the centuries and also for being the birthplace of artists such as Palladio and Canova who, in the classical period of the fifteen and seventeen hundreds, established the ground rules for those extraordinary works of art now so well known to all.Discipline and balance characterize the beautifully crafted works of Mariano Favero who began his career as a graduate of the Venice Art Institute. Today Favero works mainly in 18 carat gold with the finest quality diamonds as well as precious gems creating powerful, colorful collections.
